Chris Leidhecker is a Nashville-based drummer and percussionist currently recording and touring worldwide with Grammy Award-winning artist Michael W. Smith.

Pennsylvania-raised in a family of musicians, Chris began playing piano and drums when he was a toddler, eventually earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Since moving to Nashville, Chris has performed with Michael W. Smith, Rascal Flatts, Amy Grant, CeCe Winans, Charlie Daniels, Newsboys, Matt Maher, Wynonna, Ruston Kelly, Tony Anderson, Adam Doleac, Timbre, and others. When not on tour, Chris writes music for TV shows and commercials on MTV, ABC, CBS, Discovery, Bravo, and many others. He also records live drums & percussion from home and at studios all around Nashville.
