Jeremy Leidhecker to guest conduct the Corno Festival Brass Ensemble and the Zielona Góra Philharmonic at the CORNO Festival (25/08/2018 - 02/09/2018) in Zielona Góra, Poland.
Soloists include Denise Tryon and Samuel Seidenberg (horn), Alistair Mackie and Jan Harasimowicz (trumpet), Tomasz Hanjda (trombone), Roland Szentpali (tuba) performing repertoire from the Classical and Baroque Eras with the Zielona Góra Philharmonic.
Concert is Friday, 31/08/2018 at 19:00 in the Main Hall of Zielona Góra.

MIDI Mockups Workshop with Jeremy Leidhecker Launched on the 2018 Film Scoring Summer Program, Varna, Bulgaria
The 2018 Film Scoring Summer Program, held in July, 2018, on the Black Seat in Varna, Bulgaria, will include a 3-week intensive course, led by Jeremy Leidhecker, on creating realistic MIDI Mockups. More information about the workshop and how to apply can be found on the Film Scoring Summer Program Website here.
Notable lecturers on the Film Scoring Summer Program include Hollywood Film Composer Christopher Young, Grammy-winning Music Supervisor Andy Hill, Composer and Conductor Derek Gleeson, and others.

2017 Oticons Faculty Soundtrack Album Released
The album featuring the winners of the 2017 Oticons Faculty International Film Music Competition has been released to streaming platforms globally. The album features two tracks by Jeremy Leidhecker, "Scenic Ireland" and "Mystic Journey".

Shanghai, China Film Scoring Workshop includes Lectures in Music Technology, Composition, Orchestration, and Film Music by Jeremy Leidhecker
The Shanghai Film Scoring Workshop, held from Monday, 5th February through Sunday, 11th February in Shanghai, China, fill feature lectures in music technology, composition, orchestration, and film music by Jeremy Leidhecker and Derek Gleeson. The program will be repeated in Beijing in May, with a full 3-week summer course launched in August, 2018.

Jeremy Leidhecker partners with Artist Adam Rapa for Concerts in Denmark, Thailand, and Poland
Acclaimed trumpeter and Lotus Trumpets Founder Adam Rapa has partnered with Jeremy Leidhecker on collaborations for debut with the Randers Kammerorkester (The Danish Sinfonietta, Denmark, May 2018), the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra (Thailand, August 2018), and the Corno Festival (Poland, August, 2018).
The Randers Kammerorkester will perform a 90-minute concert in May 2018 featuring soloist Adam Rapa and orchestrations by Jeremy Leidhecker. Works include several original pieces by Rapa, as well as jazz-oriented orchestrations of classical standards by Weber, Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov, and more. The same program will be re-orchestrated for full orchestra and performed with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra in August, 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. Details about the Corno Festival in Poland will be made available in Spring 2018.

Philadelphia Pops performs Orchestrations by Jeremy Leidhecker with "Movin' Out" Star Michael Cavanaugh
After sold-out Music of Billy Joel shows with the Philly POPS in 2016, Michael Cavanaugh and his energetic band return to Verizon Hall to rock Elton John’s greatest hits, including “Rocket Man,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Your Song,” “Candle in the Wind,” “Crocodile Rock,” and, of course, “Philadelphia Freedom”. An in-demand artist who tours the globe, Cavanaugh earned Grammy and Tony nominations as the lead in Broadway’s Movin’ Out. Celebrated conductor Stuart Chafetz leads this tribute to Elton John, complemented with music by his contemporaries: Paul McCartney, Pete Townshend, and many more. The concert will include multiple orchestrations by Jeremy Leidhecker.

SwanDive Productions' latest film, Vegetable, signs Jeremy Leidhecker as Composer
The score for Vegetable will be composed by Jeremy Leidhecker. Release is expected for Spring 2018 by SwanDive Productions (Director Mícheál Fleming) of Dublin, Ireland. The Soundtrack will be released on streaming platforms (Apple Music and Spotify) shortly after.

Jeremy Leidhecker places 3rd in the 2017 Transatlantyk International Film Music Competition
The film music competition (which forms one part of the wider Transatlantyk Festival founded by Oscar-winning composer, Jan A.P. Kaczmarek), provides contest participants with two film clips, a short feature and an animation, in order to examine their expertise in dealing with various film genres. All participants then created their own original film scores and their compositions were evaluated by an international Jury comprised of renowned experts. As part of his award, Jeremy was flown to Łódź, Poland for 4 days to participate in the festival and received 5,000PLN (1,176euro / 1,380dollars).

Jeremy Leidhecker Accepts Adjunct Lecturer Position on the Masters in Scoring for Film and Visual Media Program at Pulse College, Dublin, Ireland
Jeremy Leidhecker has accepted a position on the faculty of the Masters in Scoring for Film and Visual Media program at Pulse College, part of the world-renowned Windmill Lane Recording Studios, in Dublin, Ireland. Jeremy will be leading the Music Technology module, giving lectures in MIDI Mockups, Logic Pro X, Sibelius, and more. Jeremy will also be assisting on the Studio Conducting and Score Supervision module, led by conductor Dr. Ciarán Crilly.

Jeremy Leidhecker places 4th in the 2017 Oticons Faculty International Film Music Competition
172 composers from around the world entered the 2017 edition of the Oticons Faculty International Film Music Competition. With a ranking of 4th, Jeremy Leidhecker won a place on the 2017-2018 Oticons Faculty Soundtrack album, and recognition in the industry.
