2008 Loyalsock School District - Jazz Festival featuring the IUP Jazz Ensemble
The IUP Advanced Jazz Ensemble was invited to be the featured artist for the 2008 Loyalsock High School Jazz Festival. The event culminated with a combined jazz band and vocal jazz ensemble arrangement of The Way You Look Tonight, which I arranged specifically for the event.

2009 IUP Marching Band Show
Requested by the director to write a superhero themed show for the 2009 season. All themes are transcribed from the original soundtracks, arranged specifically for the IUP Marching Band. The show includes selections from the various Spider-Man, Batman, and Superman movies.

2008 Loyalsock Lancer Marching Band Show
This is the second show written for Loyalsock in what is hopefully a longterm relationship with the District. Much like the 2009 IUP Marching Band show, this show is a superhero themed show, employing many of the same themes found in the IUP show, with slight variations.

This was an assignment for a methods class I took. The objective was to create an arrangement of a popular tune that could be played along with the original recording on Orff instruments.

The Infamous IUP Trumpet CHARGES!
In speaking with Dr. Eisensmith (who used to march in the IUP Marching Band as an undergraduate student at IUP), he told me about something they used to do in the stands at football games. Apparently every section used to do this - play popular familiar tunes/jingles and add a 'charge' onto the end. Thus, in 2007, I rebirthed the idea of the charges and arranged 27 new tunes for us to do in the stands, and 2 more in the 2008 season.

A transcriptiong of Wildroot by the Woody Herman "Thundering Herds" (1940's). Transcription does not include the saxophone solo, but does include the trombone solo. This was originally done to be part of the 2007 IUP Marching Band show, but the show concept was later changed.

The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps - 2008 On-Field Warm-Up
Perhaps one of my biggest accomplishments and one that I am most proud of. This was written for the 2008 'Samurai' show - originally going to be the on-field warm-up, it never got put in because of various visual responsibilities, potential timing issues, etc. I was humbled to write something which was initially going to be performed with such an amazing ensemble.
